- Scan tracking works for websites. Text, Wi-Fi and contact codes hold their data directly, so they can't be counted
- A scan is a visit to the link the code points at, so we can't see scans of codes that don't point at one
Questions
Can I see how many people scanned my QR code?
Yes, for website codes with Track scans on. The code points at a short link of yours, so each scan is counted. Codes that hold text, Wi-Fi or a contact have nothing that passes through us, so they can't be counted.
Can I change the link after printing?
Yes. When a code points at a short link, edit the link's destination and the printed code keeps working.
Does the QR code expire?
No. Hosted codes stay available until you delete them.
